Browncross Healthcare Limited operates a privacy policy that deals with the data we hold about you and your rights under the law in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU2016/679, Browncross Healthcare Limited is the Data Controller.

 

Individual Rights

The personal data we hold about you is your data and you therefore have the following rights in respect of the data.

 

Right to Access the Data:
You are within your right to ask us for the personal data we hold about you and we will make them available to you.

 

Right of Correction of Data:
If you are of the opinion that the information we hold about you is not correct or out of date, you can correct or update such information by providing us with the correct or up to date information.

You can also ask us to delete the incorrect or out of date information and we will be able to carry out your request unless we are prevented from doing so by law or regulation.

 

Right to be Forgotten:
You are able to request that we delete your personal data we hold where such data is used for direct marketing purposes or processed as a result of you consenting to such processing. However, in cases where we are obliged to keep your personal data as a result of regulatory or legal requirement, we will be unable to delete your personal data and must continue to retain the data.

 

Right to restrict Processing of Data:

You have the right to restrict processing of your data in some limited situations. Examples of such circumstances are:

      • - If our use of your data is unlawful but you do not want to erase it.
      • - If you have objected to our use of your data but we need to verify whether we have important legitimate reasons to use your data.
      • - If you want to establish the accuracy of the data.
      • - If you need us to hold the data because you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims even if we no longer need to keep the data.

 

Right of Objection to Processing:

You can object to our using your data for direct marketing purposes or profiling especially if you have circumstances that would make you object to processing because of its impact on your fundamental rights and freedom. However, there may be times when we may demonstrate that we have important legitimate reasons to process your information which overrides your rights and freedom.

 

Right of Data Portability:

You can request a copy of your personal data we hold you in machine readable format. The data can be provided either to you or to a third party as you specify in your request.

 

Automated Decision- Making Objection Right:

Browncross Healthcare Limited do not utilise or rely on automated decision making without human assistance.
